Impeachment – The DNC’s Final Affair

Nancy Pelosi dramatically announcing that the process towards impeachment would start against President Trump might as well go into history as the DNC’s last and final attempt to keep US power concentrated where it always has been: firmly in the hands of the 0.1%. The bankers, the military-industrial complex (MIC) and / or the “Deep State”. While some readers might go berzerk me stating the latter as if it were absolute fact devoid of any whisper of “conspiracy theorism” I do so because it is fact. We have number 45 himself to blame for admitting to the existence of the “deep state” on multiple occasions although he prefers referring to it as “the swamp” and has gone on record that he is not part of it. And we had JFK as well of course in his address before the American Newspaper Publishers Association on April 27, 1961.

It also shows where the DNC’s alliance lies. It’s a dangerous straw to pull. It could blow back heavily. Not only in the face of the DNC itself, but also against the American population as a whole. When Americans understand that president Trump has really done nothing wrong to warrant the start of this process they might well revolt against these powers-that-be. Or do Americans really want a president who doesn’t fight and / or investigate state-level corruption when he sees it? Putin’s gone on record already stating that this kind of investigation is normal; that world leaders need to get this kind of information when it is needed. I keep on wondering: what’s the alternative to investigating this wrong-doing?

This impeachment track against Trump also is a bit hypocritical after having invested over two years and millions of tax-payer dollars on a witch-hunt into alleged Russian meddling which in reality had less initial proof of wrong-doing than the Joe-Hunter-Shokin-Burisma drama unravelling now. Most worrisome of all however is that the media play ball with the DNC again and are not really investigating the reasons why Trump is (appropriately) requesting foreign help to investigate potential wrong-doings by the former vice-president of the United States. News again toes the line we have seen with the Hillary e-mail hack back in 2016 which did not lead to mainstream media investigating the contents of emails but going on an unfounded crusade to link Russia-to-Trump-to-meddling-and-impeachment. Much like now.

The danger for the DNC obviously is that a large part of the American population; all these but the most misguided “liberals” will turn their backs against it. The impeachment gamble Pelosi started might lead to the DNC’s entire downfall. Trump would have fulfilled his “drain the swamp” promise at that moment or would have a very easy time defending so. The danger however exists that repercussions throughout the US will go far further. That very same deep state is not likely to let go without a fight. It will be that struggle which is bound to get interesting. Let’s hope it’s played clean but they’re not used to doing so really.

Right when I was about to publish this little piece Trump tweeted an intriguing message where he proclaims (again) that “it is time for us to get out of these ridiculous Endless Wars“. I’ll restate what I have been under the impression of for so long. It is exactly this reluctance to involve the US in more perpetual wars which lead the traditional establishment to attack him persistently. The Donald has not only been targeted over alleged Russian meddling or over “quid-pro-quo” investigations over political rivals, but also for his hands, for the way he shook hands, for his color, his alleged mysoginy, his alleged racism, his walk, how he talks, how he behaves, how he compares to his predecessory in beauty and eloquence etc. The list is nigh endless and entirely parotted throughout mainstream channels which are, appropriately, referred to by Trump as fake and false and even corrupt.
